Track Alignment

Sometimes referred to as P-Way, PWAY, permanent way, alignment file or track alignment file, track alignment is the name given to a CAD file containing the 3D elements (lines, curves, polylines etc.) that make up the rails of one track or multiple tracks.

Lineardraft designs are built around this track alignment file. Find out more about what rail elements are supported here.

More info: If your track alignment file is updated mid-design, learn how to re-associate tracks with multiple structures using the 'Track Manager' here.
