There are a few reasons you may need to delete a structure or structures, and depending on the circumstances there are a couple of methods you can use.
Method 1
- Select the 'Structure Remove' button from the Lineardraft Toolbar and follow the prompt to select a structure (this should be the structure that you want to remove and you can select the structure in either the 3D view or by selecting any part of the structure's 2D annotation)
- Once removed, the 'Structure Remove' command will remain active and you can carry on removing additional structures by selecting them in either the 3D or 2D view
Method 2
- Choose the 'Element Selection' tool from the CAD application toolbar
- Drag a selection rectangle over all of the structures you want to delete. When you release the mouse button, the selected structures will be highlighted within your design
- Select the 'Structure Remove' button from the Lineardraft Toolbar and all highlighted structures will be removed
Method 3
- Choose the 'Element Selection' tool from the CAD application toolbar
- Click on the first structure you wish to delete - this should then be highlighted within your design
- Hold down the 'Ctrl' key on your keyboard and select all the other structures you want to delete - these can be any structures that have association to any track
- Once all structures you want to delete are highlighted, select the 'Structure Remove' button from the Lineardraft Toolbar and all highlighted structures will be removed
