If you are attempting to use Lineardraft and you have an 'Unhandled Exception' dialog that appears on screen with the message 'Padding is invalid and cannot be removed', then please follow the steps detailed below to rectify the issue.
- Navigate to the location in which your Design Catalogues are stored. This will be in your Local App Data folder and can be accessed via the following path: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Zebraware\Lineardraft\Cache\Catalogues
- Select the 'UKMS.catalogue' file and delete it from the folder.
- Open the Lineardraft Desktop application and select Help>Refresh Available Packages
- The available options within your Lineardraft Desktop application will refresh and the 'UKMS 3D BIM Catalogue' will now display as 'Not synced'
- Click the 'Options Menu' (indicated by the 3 dots) on the 'UKMS 3D BIM Catalogue and select 'Force Sync Catalogue Data'
- The UKMS Catalogue will be re-synced and once complete you will be able to use Lineardraft as per normal procedure.
