How do I sync newly available Lineardraft data?

Throughout the time that you are using Lineardraft, updates to the Software, Catalogues and Project Presets may be released by our team. These updates usually contained new features, updates to existing information or may remove data that is no longer required.

When these updates are published by the Lineardraft team, you may find yourself wondering what to do next in order to access the new information?

Following the initial download of the Lineardraft software, Catalogues and Project Presets, all versions will show as "Up To Date" within the Lineardraft Desktop application (accessed via the tray application on your machine).

Once an update is available for the Software, a Catalogue or Project Presets, the data will be published and pushed out to your Lineardraft Desktop application ready to be synced. When an update is available, it will be shown like the image below;

If an update is showing as available (like in the image above), you are able to update to the latest data version by selecting the 'Options Menu' (indicated by the button with the 3 dots) and selecting 'Force Sync Data'.

The speed in which the data is synced varies depending upon the quality & speed of your internet connection, but also upon the amount of data that is being synced.

Once complete, the 'Update Available' message will no longer be displayed and it will be replaced by 'Up To Date'.
