Due to an instability in the way MicroStation V8i handles clipping elements, repeated changes to saved views may lead to potential issues within the file in certain circumstances.
To address this issue, we have decided to change the way saved views are handled in Lineardraft. All saved view functionality has been moved to a separate command, with a brand new user interface to manage saved views for all structures within a model.
How Does This Affect My Models?
Existing saved views are not affected by this change. All saved views created by Lineardraft will still continue to exist in the model.
When an existing structure is edited or rebuilt, the associated saved view(s) will not be updated.
When a new structure is created, a saved view is not created for that structure.
