Follow the steps below to adjust the clip volume for a specific structure. This affects both the orthographic views (Front, Back, Left and Right, Top) and saved view of the chosen structure.
Please note: The default clip volume for all structures is defined by your project settings. If the default values need to be adjusted, your team's Project Settings Administrator can submit a ticket to request this.
Step 1: Navigate to the ‘Structures’ section on the Lineardraft toolbar
Step 2: Click on the 'Adjust' button
This will bring up the ‘Select a Structure’ prompt at the bottom left of the screen.
Step 3: Select the relevant structure
This will open the ‘Edit Structure’ window.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Settings’ button on the ‘Edit Structure’ window
This will open the ‘Settings’ window.
Step 5: Locate the ‘Elevations’ section and enter the new value(s)
Step 6: Click ‘Confirm’ on the ‘Settings’ window and the ‘Edit Structure’ window
This will confirm your new clip volume values.
Please note: These changes will not be automatically reflected in any active orthographic views. To refresh the display, you must re-apply the view. Learn more about navigating views here, and how to update saved views here.
