How can I remove the 'Attachment Point' lines?

'Attachment Point' structures are used within Lineardraft to place items such as soffit or wall attachments. When an 'Attachment Point' is placed, regardless as to whether or not equipment has been added, an indication line will be drawn from the running edge of the closet associated rail to the point at which the item is attached to the soffit or wall. The image below demonstrates this;

This line will always be drawn and placed on the 'Active' level within the CAD Application.

There may be occasions (e.g. when the structure has no wires or equipment attached) that you want to display the line within your design. However, if you do not want the line to be displayed, then using the CAD application functionality, turn off the level that the line was drawn on.

If you want to change the level the the line is drawn on, follow the steps below;

  1. Change the active level within your CAD application
  2. Select the 'Structure Adjust' button from the Lineardraft Toolbar and follow the prompt to select a structure (this should be the attachment point structure that you want to update).
  3. When you have chosen the structure, the 'Edit Structure' dialog will be displayed.
  4. Click 'Confirm' (without making any changes - unless changes are also required).
  5. The structure will now be associated to the active level.

When the level has been turned off, the line from the running edge of the nearest associated rail to the point at which the item is attached to the soffit or wall will no longer be drawn.

n.b. The line(s) between the associated rails will still be displayed.
