- Click the Saved View Manager button.
- The following dialog will appear:
- Select the structures using the checkboxes to define which structures' saved views should be updated. There are four quick-select options which do the following:
- "All" - Selects all listed structures.
- "None" - Deselects all structures.
- "Out of Date" - Selects all structures which are not listed as "Up to date". This quick select option shows how many structures' saved views are out of date (in brackets).
- "Locate" - Follow the on-screen prompts to click a structure and add select it in the dialog.
- Once structures have been selected, the "Update Saved Views" button will be enabled.
The button shows how many structures have been selected for update. - Select "Update Saved Views" to regenerate the saved views for the selected structures.
- Once complete, the Saved View Status will refresh for each structure, and should read "Up to date". N.B. The current selection will still remain active after the update is complete.
- Due to limitations with MicroStation V8i clipping functionality, saved views may not be created or updated. In this case, the status will be shown in the Saved View Manager as either "Out of date" or "Not created". If this occurs, please create a section view for the structure manually using standard MicroStation functionality. This section view will need to be updated manually by the user if required, and will not show in the Saved View Manager.
